My guess would be seeing the direction the team has been going was weighing on him mentally. Also not really having anyone decent to play with certainly doesn't help.

He will bounce back and put up 25-30 goals I'm sure.

Patches is 29, I would very surprised if he declined at his age. He is in his prime right now. Montreal sucked and it trickled towards the players.

Definitely nowhere near fair value for EK, but I'm trying to be realistic with a potential trade and lower my expectations. Thoughts?

Personally, I'd do Glass or Brannstrom + Theodore + 1st. But I think -- I think -- that's richer than what McPhee would do. Trading another top prospect could really hurt the Vegas system. If Ryan is shoved into deal, my offer diminishes.

Not that Tuch is untouchable, but whereas Theodore for Karlsson is same position swap, Vegas doesn't have a likely replacement for Tuch right now.

Thanks Sheng, you too! Man though, Senators fans would love that return of Glass+Theodore+1st, but like you said it's probably too high for GMGM.

I think any trade that includes Glass or Theodore will probably be okay, but I'm setting my expectations low
